Readers be warned: This drink is not for the faint of heart! Must be on empty stomach! Must consider sharing!
Now that the technicalities are out of our way, let me introduce to you an original recipe. I call it Milk Chocolate Stout, and boy is it something else.
For this drink, I combine milk chocolate ice cream with deep, nutty Irish stout. Guinness would be a popular choice for this because of its rich, coffee-like flavor. Any variety that you’d prefer (Irish or not) could work just as well though.
This drink is super luscious. Try using a lighter chocolate ice cream to balance out the darkness of the beer. Nutmeg adds a dimension of warmth, and sea salt adds a delightful crunch. I recommend using Häagen-Dazs® five™ milk chocolate ice cream, though vanilla would work well, too.
